ATI Expands Reach with Addition of Matt Smith Physical Therapy

An ATI Physical Therapy news release reports that Matt Smith Physical Therapy (MSPT) has joined ATI Physical Therapy; the acquisition adds the state of Nevada to the ATI team, which includes 12 outpatient physical therapy clinics located in the Las Vegas Valley.

In the release, Dylan Bates, CEO, ATI Physical Therapy, articulates his excitement in bringing “another market leader into the ATI family.” Bates also emphasizes the commitment of the company to being a leader in the physical therapy industry and continuing to build a unique platform.

“The addition of MSPT and our growth in the southwest region is an exciting new chapter for ATI. We look forward to our future together,” Bates adds.

The release notes that as CCOO, Brent Mack will oversee the integration of MSPT, and calls the addition of Matt Smith Physical Therapy “a natural fit for ATI.”

“As a leader in the Las Vegas area, Matt Smith is dedicated to the highest standards for patient care. Together, we will continue this mission, and look for future opportunities that will allow us to positively impact the lives of more individuals,” Mack says.

According to the release, Matt Smith Physical Therapy is a provider of physical therapy, hand therapy, sports medicine, and workers’ compensation services in the state of Nevada. Matt Smith will remain an owner within ATI, overseeing the Nevada market. Additionally, the release notes Lou Hillegass will serve as vice president of Operations, managing the clinical functions of MSPT. All staff and clinics will remain in place, the release says.

Matt Smith, president, MSPT, notes, “This partnership will allow us to grow and provide additional benefits and services to our patients. While our name may be changing, our clients will continue to have the same wonderful care from our entire team. ATI has corporate headquarters based in Bolingbrook, Ill. It currently operates more than 400 clinics in 13 states. These include Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
